Two Tri-Point FFA'ers Win State- Will Compete at Nationals

Two members of the Tri-Point FFA Chapter won state proficiency awards on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the State FFA Awards Day at the University of Illinois. The duo won chapter, section, district and state honors and will now represent Illinois FFA in the national competition.
Brian Hills, son of Steve and Marcia Hills of rural Cullom won in the area of Diversified Agricultural Production. He has swine, beef, corn, soybeans, and wheat as his projects.
Tyler Loschen, son of Gary and Diana Loschen of rural Kempton won the Diversified Livestock Production award. His diversified livestock project consists of swine and beef.
The pair will receive their state winner plaques and awards at the Illinois FFA Convention which will be held in June at the Prairie Capitol Convention Center. Each state winner will be featured in a video about their project.
