Marble Boards

The 5th grade classes have been studying gravity, friction, and the 3 laws of motion. As a final project, the students were placed in groups to design marble boards. They had to design ramps that would slow a marble down.
The group with the slowest time in 5Z were Kelsey R, Jimmy T, and Josh T. Their marble took 12.47 seconds. The slowest time in 5A was 12.28 seconds. This board was designed by Austin W. and Nicholas T. While the project was frustrating at times, the students enjoyed designing their boards.
