This picture shows a dark fairy that Chris Z. made. You need an acrylic board and some printing paper to draw your picture. Once you have drawn the picture you take another sheet of paper and use a pencil and you scribble all over the paper until it is filled with lead. Then you put the paper that you scribbled on over the acrylic, paper face down, so the side with lead on it is facing down toward the acrylic paper. Then you set the picture that you drew on top of the other paper. The picture is facing you. Then you trace over it hard enough so you see the drawing on the acrylic paper. After you are all done tracing you can throw the other paper away so you only have the acrylic paper in front of you. Then you start painting. Once you are finished painting you now let the paint dry. After that you are all done with it. Now you can show it to your friends or your family.
Nicholas T.chose to make a Green Bay Packer helmet out of a balloon, newspaper, wire, and straws. It is like a mini helmet. He is in 5th grade. It took him about three weeks to finish it. After he was finished painting the helmet, he put sparkles in it just like real ones.
This picture is stained glass, copper, and clay. The stained glass is very easy to make. All you need to do is have tissue paper and a black sheet of paper. You cut the paper into any shape you want, but you have to have a border around it. It is very important that you do that. After you cut the black sheet of paper into some shapes in the middle as shown, then you trace the shapes that you cut out onto another sheet of black paper. After you traced it, then cut the shapes. Then you have two black sheets of paper that are the same. Now you go to the tissue paper. You find the color you want to use and then you take a pencil and tissue paper and you put it over the shape. Then you cut the shape out and you glue the tissue paper on the black sheet of paper. You keep doing that until you cover the whole page. Then you get the other sheet of black paper and you glue the sheets together and now you have made a stained glass.
