First grade students in Mrs. Kane's and Mrs. Cobb's classes traveled to Bloomington-Normal on May 22 for their field trip. They learned about pioneer life in McLean County at the McLean County Museum of History.
They traveled to the Ropp Jersey Farm in Normal to witness cheese production and fed and pet newborn Jersey calves, a nine year old turkey and a pair of llamas. They were also invited to taste test newly-made cheese and had a hayrack ride.
