Six Tri-Point FFA'ers Receive State FFA Degree
July 18, 2008
Six members of the Tri-Point FFA received their State FFA Degree at the Illinois State FFA Convention held in Springfield, Illinois recently. Members must meet stringent eligibility requirements for the degree, and undergo an interview regarding their record books, project knowledge, and FFA involvement. The only degree higher than the State Degree is the American Degree. Receiving the degree is the culmination of a selection process which began in January.

• Laura Shaw, daughter of Brian and Christine Haren of rural Cullom, with projects including beef and floriculture.
• Benjamin Wycoff, son of Roger and Sandy Wycoff of rural Piper City, with a project in agricultural sales.
• Brian Hills, son of Steve and Marcia Hills of rural Cullom, with projects in beef, swine, corn, soybeans and wheat.
