Tri-Point Graduation Service Hours
CLASS OF 2010
- Each student is required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of community service in order to graduate. The hours can be accumulated beginning the summer of senior year through the fourth quarter of the year.
- Services projects can be completed in or out of school on the approval of the principal.
- Service hours must be documented on Service Request Sheets and signed by an individual overseeing the work.
- If a student is transferring into Tri-Point, carry-over service hours from the previous school will not be counted towards the 10 required hours.
- Students can not receive payment or other forms of compensation for their services.
- Please see the principal in the event of special circumstances.
Previous Services hours have been completed by:
- Volunteering at hospitals, sports camps, nursing homes, libraries, or the Cullom Fair;
- Assisting at city functions or Boys and Girl Scout Meetings;
- Raking leaves of elderly or disabled neighbors;
- Shoveling snow for elderly or disabled neighbors;
- Or helping clean the town parks.
