Snowflake Snowmen by the 4th Grade Art Students

By Shea S.-8th Grade computer class student

February 03, 2010

4th grader art students learned how to make snowflakes. Snowflakes are made in a unique way by folding and cutting paper. The 4th graders also learned that each snowflake that falls from the sky is one of a kind. It is unique, yes different. That is hard to believe!

Then they made snowflake snowmen, using 3 different sizes of snowflakes, from small to large. After the snowman is glued on a colored piece of construction paper, the students will decorate the snowman by adding details like a hat, scarf, twigs for arms, and snow in the background. They also used markers for the details.
