Tri-Point FFA Captures 3rd at National Barrow Show Contest and Places Individual in Top 10!

On Monday, September 8th, 2008, select Tri-Point FFA members attended the National Barrow Show judging contest in Austin, Minnesota. They began their trip to Austin on Saturday the 6th, leaving at 4:30 in the morning. Team members participated in 6 practice sessions throughout Iowa on Saturday and Sunday. Members who made up the 3rd place team were Tyler Loschen, Jake Froelich, Naomi Cooper, and Edward Ehrhardt. Tyler Loschen also placed as 6th individual overall. The chapter had two teams, with the second team placing 11th. That team consisted of Mandy Hoogstraat, Kristofer Manhart, Kaleb Nelson, and Nathan Froelich. The judging team’s next outing will be October 4th at the Section 10 Invitational Contest.
