TPLE PBIS weekly winners

Positive Action is going great.  Please see our Positive Action Newsletter for details!

Each week, the students work hard to earn pride points.  Pride points are earned when students show good character. The students are learning that good character is doing what is right, even when no one is looking.  We work hard to reward our students for doing the right thing!

On Friday, we meet for a school-wide assembly.  The teachers bring all of the pride points that have been earned by the students that week.  One name is pulled for a prize from each class. The more pride points that a student earns, the more chances that his/her name will be pulled for a prize.  After each class winner has been chosen, all of the remaining student name are put in a drawing for a Tri Point PBIS t-shirt or another big prize.

At the end of the quarter, students that have demonstrated good behavior are eligible to participate in the PBIS celebration.  Students with poor behavior, including, but not limited to, chronic disruptions, detentions, or suspensions, will be asked to sit in the office during the celebration.  They will be provided with work to do.  This activity is to celebrate all of the hard work to do that right thing that many of our students are accomplishing.  Please encourage your child to "do the right thing, even when no one else is looking".
