The 8th Grade English Class Makes Me Books for Kindergarten

The 8th Grade English class made Me Books for the kindergarten class. The 8th graders have to go through a lot of work to make sure their story and pictures are perfect.
The first step is to interview the kids. Then once we had all the information about them, we started thinking of the story. Next, we started typing the story and making the “About the Author”.
The first time we printed our story we proofread someone else’s in the room. The second time we printed the teacher fixed all the mistakes. Then, we had to fix all our mistakes on the computer. Once we printed our final time we started working on our front page.
The front page has to be eye catching to the kid, so we drew a picture and had the title of the story. Then when we put it all together, it was an enjoyable gift from the eighth grade class to the kindergarten students.
