Hello, and welcome to my web page. My name is Don Emerson and I have been in education for approximately seventeen years and this is my sixth year at Tri-Point High School.
Below you will find links for the syllabi for the social studies classes I currently teach. In the syllabi you will find a course description, textbook used, requirements, information on tests, quizzes, projects, and student portfolio. More importantly though you will find the rights and responsibilities your son/daughter has in my class as well as the rules that go along with those rights and responsibilities. Finally, my grading system is included.
I am encouraging you to read the syllabi. I am striving to provide a positive experience for your son/daughter in my class. I am attempting to be proactive rather than reactive by making my expectations clear to the students and parents.
