A message from TRI-POINT CUSD 6J
 

We have a staff member at the high school that tested positive for Covid-19.  Fortunately, we were on remote learning and no students were close contacts, repeating, no students were exposed to the staff member because of remote learning.

 

Unfortunately, there was a couple of meetings at school that included the staff member that tested positive and as a result, a majority of high school staff are considetred close contacts and will need to quarantine.

 

We will extend this period of remote learning an additional 2 days, through Friday, October 30.  November 2 is a remote learning planning day for teachers only and Nov 3 is now the election day holiday mandated by the state.  

 

We will return to in-person learning on Wednesday, November 4  

 

 

 

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Due to a staff member testing positive for the Covid-19 virus and numerous other staff members being identified as close contacts, we do not have sufficient staff to operate our buildings during the required 14 day quarantine. 

 

Starting Thursday, October 15, 2020, your student(s) will be participating in remote learning for a minimum of 2 weeks.  Our anticipated return date to school is Thursday, October 29.

 

Your student has brought home their laptop/tablet to use for remote learning during this period of time.  Please check your students remote learning site (ex. SeeSaw, Google, etc.) for their assignments.

 

The district will offer Food Service during this remote learning period.  Meals for Thursday and Friday will be available for pick-up in the closest school building between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on Thursday.
