8/1/22
Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!
We are so excited to welcome you and your student(s) back to school on August 17th! As with last year, there will be shuttle buses and rural route buses. Torin Mettille who is in charge of transportation will be contacting you shortly to let you know times and locations for your child's bus stop.
Once your child arrives at school they will have the option of eating breakfast in the cafeteria. If it is nice outside, the students then play on the playground, or in the gymnasiums if the weather is not cooperating.
The school day starts at 8:10am. If you are bringing your child to school and arrive after 8:10am, your child will need to be checked in at the office (east building door with the white awning).
If your child will not be attending school, please make sure you contact the office 815.253.6299 ext. 100 by 9am. Please also contact the office before 1pm if you need to pick your child up from school early.
Our dismissal time is 3:10pm. If you are picking up your child from the east building, they will be dismissed to you after the buses leave campus.
If for any reason your child has a fever, is vomiting, or has diarrhea please remember that they need to be kept home until they are fever free, vomiting free, or diarrhea free for 24 hours without medication. Thank you for your help with this matter.
All classroom teachers will be communicating with you via the SeeSaw app. Please make sure you get signed up for that ASAP. If you have any questions or issues signing up, please contact Leea Shelton school Librarian.
We will again be a peanut free campus this year. Please make sure that there are no peanut products in your child's lunch, or in birthday treats. Please contact your child’s teacher if you would like to send in birthday treats to set up what day you will be sending them in. They must be store bought. Thank you for your cooperation!
Please send a water bottle to school with your child. We have water bottle filling stations in each building.
Be on the lookout for dates coming home for School Music Concerts, dress up days, and field trips!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Anderson
Principal, Tri Point Lower Elementary School
