It has been another exciting week for the volleyball team!
On Tuesday we had our fall sports senior night. Thank you again to Maddie and Adriana for their dedication to the volleyball team!
The JV team was able to beat Grant Park in 3 sets: 19-25, 25-21, 25-16. Stat leaders were Sallie Curling with 4 aces and 10 digs; Ella Thorndyke with 3 aces, 7 kills, and 11 digs; and Myah Mettille with 2 aces, 6 kills, and 8 digs.
Despite a great effort, the varsity team lost to Grant Park in 3: 25-19, 21-25, 23-25. Adriana Hummel had 15 serves, 5 kills, 15 serve receive passes, and 20 digs; Maddie McNeill had 7 serves, 3 kills, 9 serve receive passes, 7 solo blocks, and 9 digs.
Yesterday the volleyball team traveled to Clifton Central for another conference game. JV fell short losing in 2 sets: 14-25 and 16-25. Stat leaders were Addy Honeycutt with 1 ace, 1 kill, 1 block, 7 assists, and 5 digs and Ella Thorndyke with 2 aces, 5 kills, and 1 dig.
Varsity was able to secure their 5th conference win last night defeating Clifton Central in 3 sets: 15-25, 25-18, 27-25. Stat leaders were Rachel Darda with 1 ace, 18 assists, and 13 digs; Khloe Miller Dyrby with 4 kills, 4 solo blocks, and 11 digs; and Lexa Porth with 1 ace, 9 kills, 1 block, and 5 digs.
