pumpkins on the chair

Good evening,

On Monday we will be holding our first quarter PBIS celebration. We will be having different games and activities for the students in the afternoon after lunch. As it's Halloween, students are also allowed to dress up in their costumes for the school day. While we encourage all students to dress up, there are also some costumes that are not appropriate to be worn at school. The following are restrictions for costumes to be worn.

  • Costumes must be school appropriate and in line with school dress code
  • There can be no blood, gore, or fake weapons.
  • Students may not wear masks to school.
  • Students must be able to sit in their classroom chairs and desks.
  • With the popularity of some Netflix documentaries and series, a reminder that students may not dress as serial killers.

A reminder if students are bringing treats to school, any treats with peanut products are not allowed.

One more note, if students are taking alternate transportation routes or riding home with friends, students are required to have a note or a call must be placed to the school by 1:00.

If you have any questions, please contact the junior high office at 815-686-2247.

Thank you,
