November 1st Fall Festival :
On Friday, November 1, we will be holding our first quarter PBIS celebration. We will be offering different Halloween themed games and activities for the students in the afternoon after lunch. Because of this, we are encouraging our students to wear their Halloween costumes on Friday, November 1, instead of Thursday. Please do not send your child with their costumes on Thursday, October 31.
For Friday, please encourage your students to wear their costumes to school. They will be allowed to wear their costume for the entire school day. While we encourage all students to dress up, there are some costumes that are not appropriate to be worn at school. The following are restrictions for costumes to be worn.
-Costumes must be school appropriate and in line with school dress code
-There can be no blood, gore, or fake weapons.
-Students may not wear masks to school.
-Students must be able to sit in their classroom chairs and desks.
-A reminder if students are bringing treats to school, any treat with peanut products are not allowed.
One more note, if students are taking alternate transportation routes or riding home with friends, students are required to have a note or a call must be placed to the school by 1:00.
If you have any questions, please contact the junior high office at 815-686-2247.
Thank you,
Sam Schmale
