The junior high Scholastic Bowl ended their season at regionals with a lost to both St. Mary's and Dwight. Each opposing team earned 300 points before we did. It's been a fantastic season, and I've been so impressed by the students! Our in-season record was 8–0, and we ended the season before regionals with a 9 – 1 record. We also earned first place at the Twin County Conference. I would like to personally thank everyone out there for your support this season! A special thank you to Bob, the bus driver, for his support of our team, and the great parents and their donations. I'd also like to thank the administration and school board for our new equipment, shirts, and all around support. I would also like the team for continually working hard and impressing me each day. 8th grade Team: Owen Griner, Trevor Condon, Kayla Morgan, Calla Fuoss, Connor Metke 7th graders: Brynner Dietz, Kara Stuckey, Ali Kennedy, Zane Jarman, and 6th grader: Eastyn Berryhill

I had the honor to recognize two amazing students at Tri-Point Junior High, Miguel Amador and Khloe Dyrby. The Cornbelt Region of the Illinois Principals Association held their annual IPA Student Recognition Breakfast. This event gives schools all throughout the Cornbel Region (McLean, Livingston, and Ford Counties) an opportunity to recognize students based on a number of criteria such as their contributions to the school, self-improvement, and community service. Congratulations to Miguel and Khloe!
