Wednesday, November 8 at 4:45pm will be a volleyball parent meeting in the science room. Please attend if you have a girl in 5th-8th grade interested in playing volleyball this season.


The JH boys basketball opened their season last night against Ridgeview. The 7th grade team lost 24-12. Leading scorers for the Chargers were Theo Angus with 6 points and Tyler Martinez with 3 points.
The 8th grade team lost 47-25. The leading scorers were Miguel Amador with 9 points and Roberto Pozos with 41.
The Chargers next game is Thursday at PBL.

JH Girls Basketball Pink Night!!
Tri-Point Junior High School would like to thank all the families, students, fans, players and staff that made JHGB Pink Night a success ! Last night's game was able to raise $483, that will all be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A special thank you to Prairie Central JH; for participating with us last night, to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

The Cross Country State Meet is this Saturday in Bloomington. Miguel Amador and Lily Polcen both qualified for the meet as individuals. Lily runs at 9:15 am and Miguel will run at 10:00 am.

Junior High: The Tri-Point Chargers Cross-Country team was at the 1A Cornerstone Section last Friday, October 6th. The Chargers competed in a competitive feild on both the boys and girls races. For the girls, Lilly Polcen would run a personal best of 15:01 (16th) earning her way to the State Meet. For the boys, Miguel Amabor would go on to run a dominant 1st place finish with a time of 11:14. Both Chargers will complete this Saturday at Maxwell Park in Bloomington at the State Meet.

Parents may pick up their student(s) at the parade. If you are taking your child, please sign them out with their grade level/homeroom teacher. Students may leave with grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other contacts listed in TeacherEase. They may NOT leave with other siblings or friends. If someone other than a parent will be picking your child up from the parade, please make sure to call the Junior High before 12:00 PM or send a Dojo message to your child’s grade level/homeroom teacher.
All other students will be returning to the Upper Elementary/Junior High School for regular dismissal.
