The Tri-Point NHS 5k run and 2 mile walk is tomorrow, Sunday May 7th, with a start time of 3 pm. Registration will start at 2 pm in the Cullom Park Pavilion. Cost is $25 and shirts are available until we run out. All proceeds go to the exercise stations and trees for the high school walk path. The weather should be great so please join us! Those already registered can pick up shirts at registration.

All Incoming Tri-Point 6th-9th graders get registered for golf camp! Mike Kelly, the high school golf coach, will have camp on June 19-23rd from 8:30 am to 12 pm. Transportation will be provided to the golf course in Pontiac for camp (more information about transportation can be found on the registration form). Camp attendees will receive a starter set of golf clubs, golf bag, balls, tees, polo shirt, and hat. Cost is free and the registration deadline is May 19th (link to an online registration form https://rb.gy/8ud32). Congratulations to Lainey Bertrand on a big track week! Lainey placed 1st in the 300m hurdles and 5th in the 100m hurdles at the Fresh/Soph Watseka Invitational. She followed up that performance with a 4th place finish and new school record in 300m hurdles at the Herscher Invitational. Other top performers at Herscher included Katelyn Poe with a 5th place finish in the 400m run and the 4x200 relay (Kasi Hughes, Alli Schuette, Maddie McNeill, Adriana Hummel) with a 6th place finish. The boys 4x400 relay (Anthony Harrell, Chase Hummel, Aiden Pelehowski, Spencer Monroe) took 7th Place . Good luck at the RVC conference meet today at Clifton!

Congratulations to the high school girls track team for their 3rd place finish at the Prairie Central Invite last Saturday 4/15. Top finishers were Lainey Bertrand with a 2nd place finish in in the 300m hurdles. Kasi Hughes was 2nd in shot put, and Adriana Hummel was 1st in long jump.

Congratulations to Katelyn Poe of the girls high school track team. She broke the 400 meter school record at the Tony Thorsen Invitational this week with a time of 1:06.46. Other track stars for the Chargers were Adrianna Hummel with a 2nd place finish in long jump, and Rosmond Prisock with a 6th place finish in the 400 meter race. For the boys team, Nate Smith finished 2nd in the 1600 m.

The FFA and NHS groups spent the morning and afternoon planting trees with the lower elementary kids. They were a big help with the 20 trees that went around the walk path. The groups would also like to thank Prairie Materials for providing the trees and extra hands to get this job done. We greatly appreciate their help!
